The Liczyrzepa Mine is the Underground Tourist and Education Trail closely connected with the secret story of U-238 extraction. It is one of more than twenty adits of the R-1 Industrial Plant that dealt with finding and extracting uranium that was later sent to the Soviet Union. It tells the story of mining in Kowary which was connected with extracting minerals, precious stones, iron, silver and uranium for 800 years.
